Power Trip was formed by an amazing selection of players, coming from servers all across World of Warcraft. Nitrana, Malice and Panzer hailed from the server that we now play on, Tichondrius, in the guild Notorious. Notorious was featured in a post made on the World of Warcraft Forums entitled ** Best PVP Raiding Guilds in WoW ** (Link), which sparked interest from Kint who applied and transferred onto the server. Our old paladin, Movac also decided to transfer in also due to this post. Noktyn and myself were from Nurfed at that point, and played against Notorious in Warsong Gulch on test. They proceeded to kick our ass, and sparked our interest in joining them. After we all transferred in, we started talking about the future, and what the first arena season would hold. Our team eventually ended up in February with that roster, but before being picked up by Team Pandemic, we replaced our paladin with Sck, an old friend of myself and Noktyn.
Team Pandemic's WoW Division became the first World of Warcraft arena team to be signed by a professional gaming team. Following this, we started hearing rumors about Wuhan, China being the location for the first ever World of Warcraft live arena tournament. We talked back and forth with our sponsors to see if a trip to China would ever be a reality. Just to be on the safe side, Mark Dolven had our team apply for passports. After taking an awful passport photo, I was off to my local town hall to pay a ton of money for an expedited passport. After talking back and forth with sponsors, our team finally secured enough money to send 4 players across the Pacific Ocean to represent the United States.
